“How can you not have insurance?”
“Because I spent my money on the Clapco D29, the most impenetrable lock on the market today. It has only one design flaw, the door must be closed!”

Jonathan Ross was back on the Beeb and back to his usual self, after his recent 12 week suspension from BBC services. The TV and radio funnyman was on his usual funny form as he joked with guests Lee Evans, Stephen Fry and Tom Cruise on his show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross.
Ross started the show with the words
“So, where were we?”
before apologising to viewers about his behaviour which led to his suspension.
“"Well, I am going to take this opportunity to apologise for what I said on the radio because being on the BBC and being allowed this level of freedom to communicate openly with people, it’s a great privilege and it’s something I’ve always enjoyed and I value enormously, and in future I do intend to be more aware of the responsibility that comes with such a gift.
But as the kids say, it was my bad, so I do apologise for any hurt or distress it’s caused.”
Ross, 48 was suspended from his £6m a year job at the BBC after the bosses upheld complaints made against him and fellow comedian and broadcaster Russell Brand. After the radio show fiasco, there was a typical press over-reaction and various Politicians and Media bosses calling for his resignation.
Ross declared "It’s me, back on Radio 2. It’s nice to be back. Oh, it’s nice to be back." as he started his live Saturday morning show on radio 2.
There were further suggestions in the media that Ross was in trouble again after 3 complaints were received about a joke he made on his radio show with the show’s producer, Andy Davies. Ross typically receives in the order of 3.35m listeners.
It’s nice to see that good old Wozza is back doing what he is paid to do; entertaining people. While opinions may be split about his brand of humour, he has no shortage of guests queuing up at his door. His chat show guests certainly all seemed to enjoy themselves as Ross used his trademark quick wit and self deprecating humour to play with his guests. Tom Cruise was particularly amused by Ross’s candid jokes, surprised at the comedian’s unabated style. Well, you ain’t seen nothing yet Maverick. You think you’re dangerous, living on he edge?
I recall an interview where Meg Ryan was savaged by national treasure and chat show legend Michael Parkinson, which I was lucky enough to see in person. It was literally like watching a car crash happen (and yes it’s true, it does all go into slow motion). Jonathan Ross is like a big teddy bear in comparison to that, even when he on a charge.
Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, broadcast on January 23 received 5.1m viewers
